David Price Building Services is a family-run firm built on craft, honesty and word-of-mouth. We turn ageing rooms, tired exteriors and unused spaces into homes that work harder for the people who live in them.
Our Story
A craftsman’s firm, built on referrals.
David Price founded the company more than 30 years ago with a simple goal — to do building work properly, the way the older trades did it, while bringing in modern materials and methods where they genuinely improve the result.
Today the firm is best known across Sudbury, Long Melford, Glemsford, Clare, Cavendish, Bures, Great Cornard and the wider Suffolk and Essex border for renovations, extensions, plastering, lime work on period properties, kitchens, bathrooms, garden rooms and full exterior refurbishments.
We help two kinds of homeowner: people upgrading the home they love, and people taking on a tired property and bringing it back to life. Both deserve clear quotes, careful site management and a finish that holds up after the scaffolding comes down.
Most of our work comes from neighbours of past clients. That only happens when the last job was right.
