Luxury Kitchen InstallationBespoke Cabinetry,Hand-Finished to a Heritage Standard
High-end kitchen installation for discerning homeowners across Suffolk and Essex. Hand-painted in-frame cabinetry, stone worktops, integrated appliances and concealed services — installed by a single, time-served team to a furniture-grade finish.
Professional luxury kitchen installation that holds its finish for decades, not seasons.
What it is
A high-end kitchen installation is part cabinetry, part architecture and part services engineering. We deliver the full project — bespoke or designer cabinetry, stone or solid timber worktops, integrated and professional appliances, concealed plumbing and electrics, lighting design, fine joinery, plastering and decoration — finished to the standard you would expect from a London showroom, in your own home in Suffolk or Essex.
Who it is for
Discerning homeowners across Sudbury, Long Melford, Lavenham, Clare and the wider Suffolk and Essex countryside investing in deVOL, Neptune, Tom Howley, Crown Imperial, Mark Wilkinson, Smallbone, Roundhouse, Plain English, Naked Kitchens or fully bespoke cabinetmaker designs. We also install premium high-street ranges (Magnet Signature, Wren Infinity Plus) where the brief calls for it.
When you need it
When a once-in-a-generation refit deserves the trades to match the cabinetry. Typically tied to a barn conversion, period restoration, full house renovation or a rear extension where the new kitchen is the heart of the home.
Why professional help matters
On a project of this calibre the cabinetry is rarely the weak link — the install is. A misaligned in-frame door, a poorly butted stone joint or a clumsy run of pipework spoils the entire room. Our job is to be invisible: every reveal even, every joint tight, every service hidden.
What happens when luxury kitchen installation is rushed, under-specified or done by the wrong trade.
A six-figure kitchen demands a fitter who thinks like a cabinetmaker. Most installers are paid by the unit and rushed by the showroom — and it shows the first time light hits the doors.
Risks if ignored or done badly
- In-frame doors with uneven 3mm reveals because units were not scribed and shimmed to the millimetre.
- Mitred quartz, marble or Dekton worktops cracking at the hob because the substrate was under-supported.
- Hand-painted finishes chipped and bruised because cabinetry was handled without site protection.
- Bookmatched stone splashbacks fitted out of pattern because the templater wasn't briefed on the design intent.
- Integrated Sub-Zero, Wolf, Gaggenau or Miele appliances installed without correct ventilation clearances — voiding the warranty.
Common mistakes we fix
- Letting a designer-brand showroom hand the install to a sub-contracted fit-only team they have never met.
- Treating the lighting scheme as an after-thought instead of designing it room-first with the cabinetry.
- Buying premium appliances and fitting them on undersized electrical circuits or unvented runs.
- Skipping the pre-fit dry-build that exposes scribe lines and reveal issues before paint hits site.

Honest Advice
If a cheaper or simpler option is right for you, we say so. We turn down work we can't do brilliantly.
How we approach luxury kitchen installation — materials, methods and the work behind the finish.
We approach high-end kitchens as joinery projects with services attached, not flat-pack assemblies. The mark of the work is in the reveals, the scribes, the joint lines and the parts of the room you should never notice.
Materials we use
- Solid timber scribes, fillers and bespoke end-panels matched to the cabinetry — never factory off-cuts.
- Mitred or butted stone worktops (quartz, granite, marble, Dekton, Neolith) on continuous moisture-sealed substrate with concealed brackets at all overhangs.
- Concealed brassware in copper or chrome on soldered or press-fit runs with full isolation; never exposed plastic on visible work.
- Layered lighting: integrated under-cabinet LED, in-cabinet motion lighting, plinth wash and dimmable architectural downlights on separate circuits.
- Specialist appliance integration — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Gaggenau, Miele, Quooker, Liebherr, Fisher & Paykel — installed strictly to manufacturer ventilation and clearance specifications.
Methods we follow
- Pre-fit survey with laser level, moisture readings and a full set-out drawing agreed with the designer or architect before a single unit is unpacked.
- Dry-build of the run before fixing — every scribe, reveal and end-panel checked, photographed and signed off.
- Cabinetry handled in cotton gloves and stored in a protected, climate-stable area on site; painted finishes never stacked face-to-face.
- Stone templating in 3D laser by the chosen fabricator after units are level, with bookmatched veining drawn to the design intent.
- Final commissioning: every door, drawer and hinge calibrated; appliance set-up; written hand-over pack with care guides and warranties.

Bespoke cabinetmaker kitchens
Working alongside independent cabinetmakers and designers — Plain English, Naked Kitchens, deVOL Haberdasher, local joiners — to install one-off pieces to furniture standard.
Designer brand installations
Tom Howley, Neptune, Mark Wilkinson, Smallbone, Roundhouse, Martin Moore — installed to the brand's own approved-fitter standard.
In-frame and hand-painted kitchens
Scribed timber detail, perfect reveals and on-site touch-up of any handling marks before hand-over.
Open-plan kitchen-living-dining
Coordinated with extension and structural work — RSJs, underfloor heating, large-format porcelain or engineered oak floors, ceiling-recessed extraction.
Period and listed property kitchens
Sympathetic install in barn conversions, Grade II homes and historic cottages — scribed to lime-plastered walls and oak frames.
Butler's pantries, larders and utilities
Designed and installed as a continuation of the main kitchen, often with secondary sinks, wine fridges and laundry zones.
Situations we work in
- Barn conversions and oak-frame new-builds where the kitchen is the architectural centrepiece.
- Listed and Grade II homes requiring sympathetic, fully reversible installation.
- Country house renovations replacing dated 1990s and 2000s kitchens with a heritage-grade rebuild.
- Open-plan rear extensions where the kitchen, dining and living zones share one finished space.
- Second homes, holiday cottages and high-end short-let properties where finish quality drives nightly rate.

Luxury Kitchen Installation questions, answered straight.
Don't see your question? Call David direct on 07521 287114.
How long does a high-end kitchen installation take?+
A bespoke or designer-brand install is typically 3–5 weeks on site for the kitchen alone, plus stone templating and second-fix appliance commissioning. Where the kitchen forms part of a wider extension or renovation we sequence it into the main programme.
Will I be without a kitchen the whole time?+
Yes — usually 3–5 weeks. For clients who would rather avoid that, we set up a fully working temporary kitchen elsewhere in the home (often the utility or a spare room) with sink, hob, microwave oven and fridge so daily life can carry on.
Can you install a kitchen I've already commissioned from a designer?+
Absolutely. We regularly install for clients of deVOL, Neptune, Tom Howley, Plain English, Naked Kitchens, Roundhouse and independent cabinetmakers. We are happy to be appointed directly by the designer or by you.
How much does a luxury kitchen installation cost in Suffolk?+
Installation labour for a designer or bespoke kitchen typically starts around £8,000–£15,000 and rises with scope. A complete project — cabinetry, stone, premium appliances, lighting, flooring and decoration — is more often £45,000–£150,000+ depending on the brand and brief. Every quote is itemised line by line.
Do you handle stone worktops, premium appliances and lighting design?+
Yes — all coordinated under one project. Stone is templated and fitted by our chosen fabricators; Sub-Zero, Wolf, Gaggenau, Miele and Quooker are installed strictly to spec; lighting is designed in layers and zoned for scenes.
Can you remove walls to open up the room?+
Yes — see our General Building service. Structural openings with engineer's calcs, steels and full making-good are handled in-house as part of a combined project.
What guarantee do you offer?+
12-month workmanship guarantee on the entire installation, plus full manufacturer warranties on cabinetry, stone, appliances and brassware passed directly to you. Our reputation locally is the real warranty.
Will the site stay tidy while you work?+
Yes — floors are protected with breathable hardboard, doorways sheeted, dust controlled with HEPA extraction, and the site swept and tools put away every evening. We work in your home with the care of guests.
